Data Projector Looking for an Event

Planning to rent a data projector? Your council has purchased a new data projector we can use for webinars, education seminars and general meetings. Since it will be in use about once a month, it's available to chapter members to rent.

The rental is $50/day (about half the going rate). We do ask for a damage deposit, in cash, of $100. It will be refunded to you on the projector's safe return. Pick up and drop off will be your responsibility.

If you have an event coming up and need a projector, you can arrange to rent it by sending an email to projector@stc-soc.org. To rent the projector, please include:

• your name
• membership number
• home address
• phone numbers (home, work, cell)
• date(s) when you would like to use the projector.

Someone will then contact you about the projector's availability and let you know where to pick it up and drop it off.

About Carol Lawless

Carol has been a member of our profession since 1993 and is a senior STC member. She is a founding partner of KCA Consulting, specializing in web usability and usability testing. She's also an independent contractor, when a suitable project arises. She is our official recorder at council. Outside of the STC and work, Carol's special interest is Ancient Civilizations, and still does not tire of visiting ruins (her favourite is Delphi with Karnak a close second). In her spare time, she runs Mom's taxi and loves to read (while waiting for the next taxi run!).
