by Holly Curtis, Management SIG Co-ordinator

Despite a few last minute cancellations (managers!), Rick Gagnon and Holly Curtis decided to still meet at Angie's Kitchen in Waterloo for a breakfast meeting on January 11. Rick and Holly discussed their backgrounds and described what landed them in their current management positions. The conversation focused on implementing change and growth within an organization and fine-tuning workflow processes. Even though there were only two of us, we were both able to walk away with new ideas and perspectives.

Holly will be scheduling a lunch meeting for some time in February. If you are in a management or team lead position in technical communication and think you may want to join this SIG, please send Holly an email. These meetings prove to be an excellent opportunity to receive peer support and mentorship.
