The Editor's Message

Where the heck is spring? I understand that I live in Canada and that I should expect to see some snow in March. The key word for me is "some". When I look out my window, I see a lot more than "some"!

My highschool classmate, Maclean's columnist Scott Feschuk, expressed his frustration with the long winter much better than I could have. Why not take a moment to read his column, What's eating you Mother Nature? Is it us?

While we've only had one local STC meeting so far this year (we traditionally don't meet in January, and March's meeting was preempted by one of those relentless snowstorms), we will be making up for that with four meetings over the next three months. Check the Upcoming Meetings and Council Minutes articles for more information.

As always, I'm happy to hear your suggestions for articles, and to (try to) answer your questions or address your concerns about The Quill. Drop me a line at quill@stc-soc.org.
